About Kevin

Born in the Congo, son of a CIA agent, soccer player for 25 years, believer, husband of 33 years, Dad to 2 kids adopted from Kazakhstan, multiple cancer survivor, state guard soldier, 11X founder, instructor, unemployable average golfer, dog lover, and guacamole afficionado.

I knew from my first “presentation” in freshman English that public speaking was in my DNA, but I didn’t do anything with that knowledge for a long, long time. Somewhere along the line, I realized that God had given me a gift for just that, so I’ve put it to use as an instructor, presenter, facilitator, and now TEDx Speaker.

The journey to TEDx took me 8 years, not full time of course, but I applied (and got rejected) for my first TEDx talk in 2018. After tinkering with the idea for almost a decade, I hired a speaking coach who’s done fourteen (14!!) TEDx talks, and – voila! – whaddya know, I landed a spot.

I also own a service franchise, teach marketing classes, lead Bible studies, and serve in the Georgia State Defense Force as the lead instructor for our Regional Training Institute. When I say “give your gift away”, each of those is an example of just that.

I’d love to help you or your organization identify your gift(s) and walk you through finding joy and fulfillment in any line of work.
