What’s Your Home Office Setup?

OK, now that Atlanta has recovered from our (first?) snow of the 2025 Winter, let’s talk home office setup.

Full disclosure: my home office setup consists of the following items.

* Windows laptop
* Bluetooth mouse
* Levenger Stanley Journal
* Sharpie S-Gel pen
* WiFi via Amazon Eero / AT&T internet

I do my very best to print nothing, and maintain everything digitally in Google Drive. I do pay $10/mo for extra storage.

That’s it. No frills. Simply setup for a simply guy.

What’s yours?

And, bigger question, what is your IN OFFICE setup? Are they different or same same? What adjustments do you have to make to move between home & office? Which do you like better, home or office?

Finally, what’s your home internet speed vs. that of your office?

  • Old marketing vs. new marketing: the only difference is data

    I love finding old ads for products we used to own in our childhood or teen years, like this 1983 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. Classic! I also am a huge fan of the series “Mad Men”, which is the essence of old school marketing, better known as advertising. Back then, it was similar to the old…

Most entrepreneurs don’t think they can tell their story, and they also don’t think…

I spent the day today on…

    This post originally appeared on the General Assembly blog. Most non-developers are completely ignorant of, if not intimidated by SEO. Even some software developers won’t go near it. SEO has been called “black magic,” “dark art”and “pseudoscience,” most likely because if you happen to get it right, you win all the Googles! And everybody wants…
